Flavors are amazing! The service was amazing especially since we were there on a night when was 2 large parties and only 1 server. I didn’t catch his name but he has worked there for years. Will definitely be back!
This is a nice restaurant and it really gave me the feeling of their culture. The dishes are well presented with lots of delicious flavours. My friends and I enjoyed all of their dishes. However, the rose petal ice cream wasn't my thing. Some of my friends did really enjoy it though. The service was very friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this place.
The most amazing food, service, and atmosphere. I kid you not, my friends and I started expressing how grateful we were to each other because this food has healing powers. The people here are amazing and extremely kind. love love love!
Literally hands down the meat dish I’ve ever had. I was legit having a foodgasm when eating the Zardak Chalow! It is a veal dish with carrots much like a curry, very soft and full of rich flavours that melt together in your mouth. The accompanying salad and rice was nice as well with a hint of sumac, goji berries and saffron. The black tea was also good and cardamom and other spices. Overall highly recommend !!!
Going to be dreaming of this food for weeks... The food, the service, the hospitality and the authentic Afghan food are second to none at Fenetres sur Kaboul. You can truly feel the soul of the restaurant through the perfectly seasoned meals and through the wonderful staff. I could really feel the warmth and tradition throughout the whole dining experience. Could not recommend more!
This is such a good restaurant ! Not only for the excellent tasty and original food from Afghanistan but the atmosphere and the love that the host, cook and owner gives to her clients. If you come to Montreal you have to stop at this outstanding restaurant. Vegetarian options are delicious! Don’t leave without dessert! Bring your own wine :) which is always a very nice option here in Montreal!
100/10!!! There is something so beautiful and magical about the array of flavours, presentation and care. I was brought to tears, from the entree alone. The main course was delicious and filling. Dessert was beautifully made and had a gorgeous presentation. I’m so thankful for the amazing experience. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the presentation- all carefully curated to bring comfort and elegance all in one. I will be back!
Absolutely divine experience! Beautiful restaurant with the most kind and attentive servers. The chef made a vegan dish upon request of the most flavourful vegetable dishes, rice, and a salad. There was also a leak dumpling appetizer which was delicious. It was so filling and heartwarming, I will definitely be going back
